Aparna is the sweetheart of Peak and Posh, but don’t take her lightly. Having cut her teeth in procurement in both the startup and corporate fronts, she is a logistics master. Aparna became fascinated with art and design through her family of artists. Her project management skills and organization keep events on track, and her attention to detail can only be matched by her love of giving surprises (she’s the gift wrapping queen). Her idea of a perfect gift would be a well constructed box filled with elaborate stationary. If she isn’t knee deep in experimenting with photography or cataloging memories in a scrapbook, she’s throwing down on the dance floor, baking for friends and family, lifting weights, or enjoying a good bottle of wine (oh, and shoes).
Mallory Butz
Design
If the love of all things pretty could be a major, Mallory would be the professor. Growing up in a family of DIYers, Mallory was born with a paint brush in her hand. From woodworking projects to sewing, her childhood home was always filled with home projects from custom furniture to hand sewn curtains (the house is GORGEOUS). This is probably why she constantly finds inspiration in her environment, be it cool walks at the beach, warm afternoons at the lake, or hot nights at the pool (did we mention she likes water?). Being the problem solver of all things crafting, she is able to find new and unconventional ways to complete even the most bizarre projects. Her days off consist of being goofy with her nieces and nephew, researching the latest design trends on social media, or re-purposing an exceptional thrift find.
Anshu Khetan
Chef and Hospitality
Anshu grew up helping his father in the garden and his mother in the kitchen, so it’s no surprise he has a love of plants and animals, especially flowers (he’s a little too obsessed with floral prints). He likes things to pop with color and prints whether it’s his design style or what he’s wearing for the day. Having worked in restaurant kitchens around the DMV, his knowledge of hospitality and points of service is invaluable to guest experience. He favors the larger set pieces and draws his inspiration from highly esteemed restaurants. As efficiency focused as he is, he makes sure the timing is always right (he can feel time). Anshu spends his off hours being the best dressed man in the room, cooking elaborate meals for the team, and keeping up with fitness and wellness.
